WREXHAM AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney has sent messages of thanks and encouragement to fans on social media after the team's Bank Holiday Weekend double-header.
Delighted fans returned to The Racecourse last night for the Reds' first home game of the season.

Fans were fuelled by the quality football on displays and as much, if not more, by the noisy Cae Ras atmosphere.
Perhaps unlucky to get a draw on the night, four points from the Bank Holiday weekend means the Reds' are looking good to fulfil the promise of a return to the Football League after 14 seasons.
But the atmosphere at The Racecourse was the biggest take away from the night, something that Rob McElhenney is keen to see more of.
In an Instragram post this morning, he shared a video of Wrexham fans cheering and singing their team on last night.
He said: "More of this please."
Before the match he tweeted to fans.
First welcoming them home to The Racecourse, he tweeted: "Croeso adref!"
Then after the match, with Welsh, Canadian and USA flag emojis to represent Wrexham, co-chairman Ryan Reynolds, himself and the club's growing global fanbase, he tweeted: "Come On You Worldwide Reds!"
It wasn’t a win, but tonight was absolutely incredible 🥰

The club also thanked fans for being the 12th man (woman and child) on the night.
They tweeted: "ATTENDANCE | 5,454.
"Outstanding support today from the Town."

And: "It wasn’t a win, but tonight was absolutely incredible.
"YOU are this football club."
Hopes that Ryan and Rob could make their long-awaited appearance in Wrexham didn't materialise.
There's nothing like the second of silence and the roar that follows after a goal at the Racecourse ❤️

Social media posts by the pair, in which they have tagged Wrexham AFC and Rob's wife Kaitlin Olson, had seemed to suggest they are on their way to the town.
