OPINIONS have been divided after a giant sign resembling the Hollywood hills has been set up over Wrexham.
The large letters reading ‘Wrexham’ were set up upon the Bersham Bank overlooking the A483 on Sunday, August 15 – but many have shard their opinions about the display in the last 24 hours.
Many people saw the fun side to this gesture, commenting that the sign made them double take and share a laugh.
Others reminisced about previous times when a similar sign went up on the banks in the 90s.

Some joked about this being just the first step to a total Hollywood takeover – adding that stars could soon appear on the town pathways.
Others were quick to criticise the sign for not being in Welsh.
The Hollywood factor came to Wrexham with force once A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their purchase of the town football club.
It remains unknown who put up the seven giant letters – but Wrexham Council confirmed to the Leader they were not involved in the erecting of the signpost.
Several people on social media have been speculating that the film crew documenting the club takeover – FX Entertainment – are behind the giant letters.
The Leader has approached both for comment on the matter.
