THE much-loved family funday returned to Chester Racecourse yesterday (August 1).
It was the iconic racecourse's first meeting since the final phase of easing of Covid lockdown restrictions, paving the way for increased capacity.
To mark the return of the popular funday – which as a result of the pandemic could not be held last year for the first time since its debut in 1995 – the racecourse turned back the clock for a special retro-themed event.
For one day only, the site underwent a transformation paying homage to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Families enjoyed a host activities including a roller disco, reality arcade games, a 'Make + Do' workshop, retro silent disco tours and kids’ tattoo artists.
The event also included an inflatable play zone, sports day area, giant garden games and DJ with boombox and dance floor.
