ABOUT 400 people enjoyed good beer, food and company at Wrexham Lager's town centre.
Far from the proverbial event at a brewery, the day was just what people Wrexham who have been without such events for 16 months.
The Wrexham Lager Summer Sessions and beer festival event on Sunday was opened by the Cambria Band marching through the brewery gates.
Then there was music from the Wrexham Band and Danny Gruff.
As well as barbecue food provided by the Fat Boar, there was a chance for people to meet Karl Phillips, aka The Bootlegger, Bryn Law, and Wrexham AFC legends.
Sales and operation manager Joss Roberts said: "It was a great day. Everyone was saying it was just what they needed after the last year."
