A NORTH Wales woman who is well on the way to being able to buy a house thanks to her OnlyFans career picked up her favourite beer to take part in the latest TikTok trend.

When Alaw Haf, 24, from Mold, saw that other women were recreating beer posters with their favourite brands of beer she grabbed a bottle of Wrexham Lager.

The photos taken in her garden and on Talacre beach were popular online, gaining her new fans and a like from the Bootlegger himself, Karl Phillips.

There was only one note of complaint - how much of the Wrexham-brewed lager she wasted by not drinking it!

Alaw is proud to be Welsh and a Wales fan

The former gym worker, who graduated from Liverpool University with a degree in law, explained: "A recent trend on TikTok is creating a sexy beer poster. So I grabbed my favourite Wrexham Lager; the Bootlegger 1974 Pilsner.

"I saw other women using well known big brands of beer but thought I would support a local business and pose with a bottle of Wrexham Lager."

She added: "Overall, the reaction positive! I think a lot of people were upset by how much beer I was wasting by pouring it on myself though! I did gain some Only Fans subscribers and I got a reply from Bootlegger, so win win!"

Joss Roberts, who is spearheading the Bootlegger 1974 Pilsner lager, thanked Alaw for the unexpected promotion.

Joss said: "Thanks to Alaw for choosing local - but it was definitely a waste of beer.

"She should be drinking it not pouring it over herself!"

As a North Wales native and football fan, Alaw is excited by what is happening at Wrexham AFC following the takeover by Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

She teased fans by promising that a photoshoot wearing the new TikTok sponsored home shirt is in the pipeline.

Alaw added: "Wrexham is a football town so this is long overdue. I think it is going to be great for North Wales and also the Welsh language. After the hard year local businesses have had dealing with Covid, I hope it also helps them too.

"I am primarily a Wales football fan, however, Wrexham is my local team so I always hope they do well.

"A TikTok wearing the new Wrexham shirt is definitely on the cards!"

As a fan of Wales, Alaw was disappointed not to be able to watch Gareth Bale and co compete in Euro 2020 in person.

But she did release a series of photos wearing the Welsh kit to show her support.

She added: "Yes, me and the family would have loved to be there to support the boys but as this was not possible, I had to think of another way which were my Wales themed Instagram posts! Check them out: @alawpx.

"I’m so proud of the boys, ten years ago we would never have thought we would make it that far! I love the passion and pride they have for representing our country. I also agree with the comments made by Chris Gunter on Instagram in regards to the set up of the tournament."

On being a proud Welsh woman, Alaw said: "If you know me, you know how proud I am to be Welsh! I was raised by my parents to be proud of being Welsh and being a first language Welsh speaker. It’s the most natural thing in the world to me."

She said that more people overseas are learning about Wales.

She added: "I think Welsh sports teams are helping that, especially everything happening in Welsh football. I sometimes get questions about the Welsh language, but I’m more than happy to educate people about that as it means so much to me."
