RYAN Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been invited to join police on a foot patrol when they are in Wrexham.
The town's policing team extended an invitation to the Wrexham AFC owners this week via social media.
It read: "Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - join us on foot patrol when you’re in Wrexham?
"It won’t be a 'mythic quest' and we promise you won’t get 'lost', but TikTok 'the proposal' won’t be around forever.
"We 'definitely maybe' want to be 'just friends'."
Wrexham Town Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant David Smith told the Leader: “There is a lot of positivity and excitement in the town with the takeover at Wrexham.
"Our town is receiving the global attention that it deserves, and rightly so. "Wrexham has a lot to offer, we would like to give Ryan and Rob an opportunity to join us on patrol to see the town and meet our community.”
