A trio of Boys' Brigade members have celebrated being awarded one of the highest honours.
Nic Hallam-Prydderch, Ryan James Hughes and Gareth James Allen, all members of the Caergwrle branch, attended a dinner event to each receive the Queen's Badge.
Caergwrle Boys' Brigade chaplain James Williams, said: "Normally we would take them to Buckingham Palace or Westminster but we couldn't with all that's going on with the pandemic.
"It's usually presented by a member of the Royal family.
"But this year we had it at the Boys' Brigade hall in Caergwrle, with Lord Barry Jones and the High Sheriff for Clwyd, Steve Thomas presenting the awards."
The Boys' Brigade is the oldest youth organisation in UK, and the Queen’s Badge offers the chance to engage with the local community, take on responsibility, set personal goals, build self-confidence and experience a sense of achievement.
Also in attendance on the night were Lady Janet Jones, police crime prevention officer Dave Evans, councillors David Healy and Gladys Healey, and Honorary Captain Norman Jones.
