FOOTBALL fans and BBC Wales have joined forces to create a spectacular good luck message to the Wales team ahead of their first group game of the Euros against Switzerland.
The specially created virtual choir are singing what has become the unofficial Welsh football anthem for fans, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.
The classic song, originally recorded by Frankie Valli, was adopted by Welsh football fans in the 1990’s following BBC Wales’s TV trailers featuring the hit song.
And it’s still sung by The Red Wall today.
The song features the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and fans can be seen singing their hearts out on a big screen in familiar locations across Wales including Barry Island, The Racecourse in Wrexham, Swansea Marina, Menai Bridge, Nash Point, Llandudno, Penrhiwceiber, Cardiff, Harlech Castle, Whiteford lighthouse and Port Talbot.
The full video can be seen here and features singers and fans from across Wales, including members of Penrhiwceiber Rangers FC and pupils from St Philip Evans Catholic Primary School, Cardiff.
Wales face Switzerand in their opening game of Euro 2020 on Saturday at 2pm.
