A MANUFACTURING complex in Wrexham has been sold for £4.3m.
Hillview Real Estate, the UK regional office investor, has sold the complex to the long-standing tenant, Transcontinental Advanced Coatings (TAC).
The 79,000 sq ft complex on Ash Road North, Wrexham Industrial Estate, has been occupied by TAC for more than 30 years and is core to its operations.
The decision to buy the complex coincided with the expiry of its lease in February.
TAC, which is a subsidiary of TC Transcontinental, a global leader in flexible packaging, specialises in the manufacturing of coatings for the medical, industrial and electronic sectors.
Hillview Real Estate was advised by Memery Crystal.
Nadav Livni, managing director of Hillview Group and fund manager of Hillview Real Estate, said: “TAC’s decision to buy its Wrexham manufacturing headquarters reflects the importance of the site to its operations.
"During our period of ownership, we actively engaged with TAC to support its growth plans for new production lines at this site and ensure it was well positioned to meet its strong order book. Critically, the site provides important unique features of a high-power supply and bespoke extraction system required for TAC’s manufacturing process”.
