PEOPLE who having been missing the cinema during lockdown will have the chance to enjoy a unique open-air event coming to Flintshire this summer.
Planned for August, AfterLight Open-Air Cinema North Wales will host a five-day cinema event at Mold Rugby Club offering up family favourites as well as some classics on a big screen.
Shows – which will all begin at 6.30pm, include Moana, High School Musical 3, Mama Mia, Grease and Aladdin.
Those who attend are advised to bring a couple of blankets and get cozy for a night at the movies.
The company adds that camping chairs are available to hire when you order your tickets online -alternatively you can bring your own.
Gazebos and umbrellas are allowed provided they do not block the view of other guests.
You can bring your favourite film night snacks too - however, no alcohol or glass items will be permitted on site.
Snacks, hot food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from local small businesses to purchase during all screenings
The event will have strict coronavirus precautions in place to ensure the safety of all customers and staff.
A spokesman for AfterLight said: “The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority and all screenings are planned with COVID-19 in mind.
“The site is large enough to accommodate social distancing and we will have plenty of sanitiser on hand.
“Guests may be required to wear face coverings (unless exempt) during all screenings pending the success of the government’s roadmap.
“We are continuously monitoring the latest developments and will continue to update guests planning to attend, subject to any changes.
“If you have COVID-19, or have been exposed to symptoms, please think of yourself and others by following government guidelines. Be bright, stay safe.
“If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19 related health issues, you can move your tickets to a later date or receive a full refund.”
The first wave of tickets will be released this weekend on Saturday, May 8 at 3pm.
Prices start from £5 per person and will increase as more ticket waves are brought forward. Be ready to make your purchases online using the links below:
