A POPULAR pub on the border of Flintshire and Wrexham is to welcome customers back this week.
While many Welsh pubs and restaurants have opened their outside eating areas from Monday, the Holly Bush in Cefn-y-Bedd made the decision to open on Friday.
Landlord Graeme Tyrrell is looking forward to welcoming customers back and enjoying a busy weekend.
He said: "We only opening on Fridays and weekends while we can only open outside. We'll have the full bar options as well as a limited menu - burgers, baguettes, fish and chips, kids meals, and puddings.
"We are taking bookings. People can come along without a booking but we cant guarantee a table and they'll have to be seated when they're here."
"It's been very strange and we are glad to be opening again. It's been five months since we've been closed now. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. We have some people that come once or twice a month, once or twice a week even, so it will be good to see them all again."
Graeme added that the pub on Llay Road was also preparing to open inside from May 17.
This weekend's opening times:
- Friday 3pm till 9pm
- Saturday 12pm till 9pm
- Sunday 12pm till 9pm
- Monday 12pm till 6pm
