STAFF at a Chirk business have been praised for their commitment during a 'very difficult year'.
Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, Simon Baynes MP, visited Domain Barbers in Chirk earlier this month for a haircut and praised the team for their 'dedication and commitment in a very difficult year' for the hairdressing and beauty industry.
Domain Barbers first opened their doors in March 2020, just before the national lockdown, leading to a problematic initial year for the business.
Mr Baynes met with some of the team at Domain Barbers including Kelly Jones (co-owner of Domain Barbers), Yusain Karidov, Connor Wintin and also Kayley Shailer, who runs KARM Therapies at the back of the shop, offering holistic treatments.
Simon Baynes MP said: "It was an absolute pleasure to meet with Kelly and the rest team at Domain Barbers and to have my hair cut.
"I know that for the majority of businesses across the country this has been a very difficult time, particularly within industries such as hairdressing and beauty.
"However, the dedication and commitment shown by the Domain Barbers team has been uplifting to see and I want to wish Kelly and her staff the very best for the future.”
