RYAN Reynolds opened up about the decision to buy Wrexham AFC.
He was also taught - sort of - how to say good morning and order a pint in Welsh when he is finally able to visit Wrexham.
Ryan, who completed the takeover of Wrexham AFC, with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney earlier this year, was being interviewed on Monday's This Morning.
After questions about his love of gin, his latest movie, and his feud with actor Hugh Jackman, presenter Alison Hammond asked the Canadian superstar about his acquisition of Wrexham's beloved football club.
"Why did you buy a football team, Ryan!?" she asked.
The Deadpool star said: "It seemed like an interesting proposition. We were looking at a bunch of different teams and the thing for me that really struck a chord about Wrexham was how intrinsically tied communities are to their football club.
"It's a more all encompassing project with Wrexham - their supporters, their community, and taking them back into the English Football League. That is our goal and our hope. We are super excited."
He added that he had received tips on football by staring into the eyes of his pal David Beckham when FaceTiming him.
Alison then shared some Welsh phrases - that she has written phonetically to test the actor and producer.
Both Hammond and Reynolds apologised to Wales after the segment.
