LIFE will "never be the same again" for a Wrexham family after the tragic loss of a loved one.
Tributes have been paid to Kay Adamson, 48, who sadly died on January 25 at Wrexham Maelor Hospital after losing a battle with Covid-19.
Kay, from Acton, leaves behind four daughters; Kayleigh, Kerys, Kara, and Kaci, and eight young grandchildren; Madison, Charlie, Ollie, George, Lilly, Jessica, Isabella and Kuba.
She was also the loving sister of Mark and Susie and is described as being a hugely popular member of the local community, who had "had time for anyone".
And Kay's daughters Kara and Kaci have paid a touching tribute to their mum.
They said: "She was just so loving and would take everyone on as her own. Her's was the house where everyone would go to and she opened her door to everybody.
"She was the sort of person who'd light up a room when she came in."
They added: "It's a very difficult situation for us to be in, she was far too young to die and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
"The community is is in complete shock, as we are - we just can’t accept that she’s gone.
"She's left behind four very broken girls who are going to struggle, life is never going to be the same without her and a piece of all of us has gone."
Kay’s four girls say they loved her very much and that they cherished every moment with her.
Kay's funeral will be held at St Giles Parish Church in Wrexham on February 15 at 1pm.
Due to current Covid restrictions, only 30 people are permitted to attend the funeral itself - but people are welcome to pay their respects outside the church.
Kay's family is asking for family flowers to be the only ones that are provided.
