A WHITCHURCH-based lorry recovery firm has shared photos of its latest dramatic rescue from the flooding near Bangor-on-Dee.
J&R Millington Ltd, who run the UK's only Tatra Truck dealership, was called out last Friday to rescue a lorry that had become stranded in the heavy flooding after the River Dee burst its banks.

The firm, who specialise in heavy recovery, dispatched its Tatra six-wheel drive lorry to rescue the stricken lorry and haul it to safety.
Joe Millington, from the firm, said rescues like this were 'part and parcel' of the job.
"We had a phone call from a recovery company in Yorkshire to recover the lorry for them – the company was one of their clients," said Joe. "They asked them to send out one of our trucks.
"It was a good job we had the Tatra to deal the water level, we used the Tatra to put air into the brake system of the casualty lorry to release the brakes to make it easier to recover, with a 1.3 metre wading capability the flood was no problem to it.
"We do a lot of off-road recovery.
"Whenever you see pictures of pics of diggers or tractors with just an arm sticking out the ground, it's usually us that goes and rescues them."
