A PRISONER at HMP Berwyn has died, police have confirmed.
North Wales Police was made aware that 65-year-old Robert Frith had died at the Wrexham prison on Saturday, November 14.
Detective Sergeant Roz Hewitt said: “The circumstances have been investigated and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
“His family have been informed and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.”
A Prison Service spokesman said: “HMP Berwyn prisoner Robert Frith died in custody on November 14. "The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman has been informed.”
