At this time of year, we reflect on those who have fought for our freedom, many making the ultimate sacrifice in the process.
Leader readers have been paying tribute to family members, as well as capturing images that speak volumes.
Here are just some that we have received...

• My grandfather, Walter Bishop Hannah, fought in the Great War, Liverpool Kings Regiment, decorated more than once too. Returned to the front twice after treatment. The final injury proved too much, gassed and explosion damage to his side.
During the Second World War he was an ARP but passed away in Liverpool 1941.
I never knew him but his legacy has spread across the world to Canada and Australia, the last of his seven children died earlier this year (my father). Steve O'Brien
