VOLUNTEER rescue workers were called out to help find a lost mother and daughter.
North East Wales Search and Rescue confirmed on Tuesday evening that its team had been called by North Wales Police to assist them with finding a woman and her daughter who had become lost up on the hills around the World's End road near Llangollen.
A spokesman for the team said: "Our concern was for dehydration or other effects of the sun.
"After first finding her car we sent search parties out along expected tracks and a combination of team members and North Wales Police officers soon located her.
"They were assessed and then taken back to their car."
