HUNDREDS of pounds have been donated to help vulnerable people across Flintshire and Wrexham.
Members of the North Wales Freemasons, Hawarden Lodge, donated £300 to the FDF Centre for Independent Living (formerly the Flintshire Disability Forum).
A spokesman said: "The FDF promote services and practices that are positive about disability in Flintshire, Wrexham & Denbighshire.
"They help to empower and support adults and children with physical and or sensory impairments, enabling them to live an equal, independent and inclusive life as far as is possible."
A donation of £1,000 was also given by members of the Basingwerk Lodge to St Kentigern Hospice which provides palliative care and support to local people with life limiting illnesses.
The hospice needed to raise £4,300 a day to enable them to keep their doors open.
The Freemasons spokesman added: "Great support in our community."
