WREXHAM Council has relaunched their consultation on plans to put a school on the Nine Acre Field.
The proposals involve building a new school for around 315 pupils, along with 45 nursery places, with St Mary’s Catholic Primary School previously informing parents that it would like to move to the site.
The Nine Acre Field, which sits off Chester Road, Westminster Drive and Rhosnesni Lane, is currently used as a training ground by Wrexham Football Club.
However, the club has been working with the council on plans to move to a new purpose-built training facility next to the old Groves secondary school off Penymaes Avenue.
The consultation, which runs from today (July 20) to August 16, will give residents, parents, community groups and other interested parties the chance to have their say.
A spokesman for Wrexham Council, said: "The Nine Acre Field Consultation can be viewed online, and for those who cannot view it online, a hard copy can be requested via wrexham@lawray.co.uk or by telephoning 01978 357887.
"The feedback will be used to help the council’s education service develop the proposals, before potentially submitting a formal planning application.
"Anyone who has previously responded will have their concerns taken into account as part of this consultation."
The consultation is now live and can be viewed via http://www.yourvoicewrexham.net/project/485
