A nursery has thanked a local business for their kind donations of personal protective equipment during the pandemic.
Sunray Day Care Nursery Ltd in Nercwys has thanked Brother Industries in Ruabon for the donation of 40 face shields and 10 splash shields for staff.
A spokesman for Sunray said: "As we are all aware young children are not able to socially distance, so this essential PPE will ensure our staff and children’s safety when social distancing is not always possible.
"Our initial contact with Brother was made through a staff connection, who made contact with Ruabon to be put in touch with MD Craig McCubbin. He contacted us to say their main focus has been, and still is, to support the local community. So, in addition to PPE donations to the NHS in Wrexham, they've been making and supplying face visors for distribution.
"From everyone at Sunray we would like to say a big thank you to the whole of Brother Industries UK Limited. An extra thank you to Craig McCubbin the Managing Director and to Tony Lock the Production Manager who ensured our facial PPE was processed quickly and delivered straight to our door."
