A DEESIDE business has dedicated itself to doing its bit for local nursing homes.
Bedford Steel Fabrications, based in Connah's Quay, have donated over 140 bottles of hand sanitizer to local care homes and children's day care centres amidst the coronavirus lockdown.
A spokesman told the Leader: "As a local company we made a decision to do our bit for local nursing homes/children’s day care centres and thought it would be good for individuals to have a small bottle in their pocket or handbag, so they can keep their hands sanitised.
"We have had a good response to our post made on Facebook, we are keeping it local so’s not to have to much travelling out of the area, now we are waiting for more product to come in to deliver more out."
So far, bottles have been delivered to Llys Eleanor care home in Shotton, Llys Raddington care home in Flint, Llys jasmine care home in Mold, Hollybank care home in Shotton, Phoenix house care home in Sandycroft, Li'l angels children day care in Shotton and Abba care home care in Flint.
