STAFF at a Wrexham dairy from have been told their company has gone into administration.
The Leader reported earlier today how concerns were raised by the Farmers’ Union of Wales over a decision by Tomlinsons Dairies to refuse milk.
Farmers in Wrexham spoke of their anger and worry, one stating it could "ruin" a lot of farms across the region.
Staff told the Leader they were called to Tomlinsons Dairies on Monday afternoon for a meeting.
One man, a driver at the firm who did not want to be named, said bosses had confirmed the company was "folding up".
He said: "About two hundred people work there altogether and we were told that none of us has a job, the whole place is folding up and the administrators are coming in.
"We all got an email telling us not to come into work but to come to this meeting. I think a lot of us knew what was coming.

"It looks like it is the whole work force - the drivers, garage and cold room staff as well.
"A lot of people were shocked. People thought someone might be able to buy it out, but it doesn't look like they can.
"I do feel sorry for the farmers over the milk."
Speaking of how the situation will affect him, the man added: "I've now got to look for a job like everyone else - I've got a mortgage to pay."
A Welsh Government spokesman said: “This is very disappointing.
"We have worked closely with Tomlinson’s Dairies during the past 18 months to try and help them resolve their ongoing business issues.
"We have now established a task force to work directly with the staff affected by the closure and are in discussions with Farming Unions and other stakeholders to consider what support is required at this difficult time.”
The spokesman said the Welsh Government supported the company around trade negotiations with the business and its stakeholders and also provided assistance with the sale of an onsite packaging company to support the stability of the overall business.
The Welsh Government also worked closely with the Development Bank of Wales by introducing additional support through turnaround restructure options.
According to the Welsh Government, the Rural Development Programme Grant awarded to Tomlinson Dairy Ltd was subject to a full and robust due diligence process.
