Fire crews from Whitchurch and Malpas are currently tackling a barn fire in Eglwys Cross.
The fire was reported at 2.08pm and the Whitchurch and Malpas crews were joined by firefighters from Wrexham and Chirk in dealing with the blaze.
Residents of Eglwys Cross have been asked to close windows and doors due to smoke in the area.
One fire engine from Whitchurch was deployed to the fire, which is still ongoing.
