ONE of the region’s top guitar players is to provide a workshop at this year’s North Wales Blues and Soul Festival.
The event, which takes place over the weekend of August 2 to 4, will be held at Theatr Clwyd in Mold.
Pete Wade has a blues pedigree many would be proud of – including six years touring the UK and Europe as lead guitarist with the award winning blues singer Connie Lush.
As part of the festival’s work with the national charity Music For All, Mr Wade will be providing a blues guitar workshop.
The session is open to all and takes place in the bar at Theatr Clwyd on Sunday, August 4, between 10am and 11am.
There's a £5 charge for adults, free for the under 16s.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees can bring a guitar or just sit and watch the masterclass.
This year Mr Wade will be playing with One Eyed Crow at the festival on Saturday, August 3.
His style is all his own by influenced by blues giants like B.B.King, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Rory Gallagher, and he’s been described as one of the best blues guitarists on the circuit by Blues Matters magazine.
