A ROAD has been closed in Mold following a vehicle fire on Tuesday evening.
North Wales Police said the A5119 Ruthin Road, near to the junction of Bryn Coch Lane, would be closed for "an extended period" following the incident and advised motorists to avoid the area.
The social media post by the police also revealed that the Highways agency would putting diversions in place.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) confirmed the incident happened shortly before 6pm and involved a van on fire on Ruthin Road.
A spokesman for NWFRS said: "We were called at 17.59pm to reports of a van fire.
"One pump from Ruthin attended the scene and are still in attendance, although the fire is now under control."
