DEESIDE'S MP will be voting against the Prime Minister's 'desperate' attempt to back part of her Brexit deal.
MPs will vote on the withdrawal agreement this afternoon, which sets out to cover the terms of the UK's exit from the EU.
Having lost two votes on her Brexit deal, Theresa May is asking MPs to back half of it, which is the withdrawal agreement.
If successful, Brexit will be delayed until May 22 but if she fails, the process of indicative votes will continue through the weekend.
Mark Tami, Alyn and Deeside MP, said: "I will be voting against this desperate attempt by Theresa May to force through her Brexit plan. It has repeatedly been said, even by the prime minister herself, that the Withdrawal Agreement and the Political Declaration cannot be separated and the legalities in doing so remain vague.
"Waving through just the Withdrawal Agreement provides no clarification as to what our future relationship with the EU will be. I will not be putting jobs and the prosperity of my constituents at risk by voting for this."
