WREXHAM residents are being reminded that the date to apply for a 2019 nursery school place for your child is fast approaching.

Nursery school places are open to children who’ll be aged three by August 31, 2019 and Wrexham Council have announced the deadline for applying is Friday, February 22.

For those that haven’t already done so, you can apply online now, by clicking the ‘Online Admissions’ button, with applications possible using a computer, tablet or mobile but you’ll need to sign up for an account.

Applying online is the quickest and easiest way to apply, with a confirmation e-mail sent out straight away to confirm the application has been successfully received.

Alternatively, there is still time to pick up the paper application from Contact Wrexham, 16 Lord Street, Wrexham, LL11 1LG, or you can download it instead.

While parents are able to state preferences for certain schools on their applications, it is recommended they select multiple schools in order of preference – just in case one or more of the requests aren’t successful.
