LUKE YOUNG is Sam Ricketts' first new signing as Wrexham manager.
Young has signed a two-year deal at The Racecourse after turning down the offer of a new contract with Torquay United, who were relegated from the National League last season.
The 25-year-old midfielder signed for Torquay from Plymouth Argyle in the summer of 2014 and he has been a regular in the Gulls side, earning rave reviews for his performances.
Having made more than 130 league appearances for Torquay, scoring 16 goals, only two serious injuries prevented him from playing more games.
Young collected his second successive Player Of The Year award this season.
