A BAILIFF fell in a puddle whilst trying to evict anti-fracking protesters from Upton on Tuesday.
The man took a dive after hail storms and heavy rain lashed the site on Duttons Lane, throughout the day, resulting in deep puddles and slippery surfaces.
He did see the funny side of it, and luckily had a spare change of clothes on hand.
The eviction saw 10 arrested and all of the protesters removed from Upton Community Protection Camp overnight.
About 150 police officers from three units, Cheshire, North Wales and Merseyside, were at the scene yesterday, and police remain at the site on Wednesday.
