OUR Leader sports team have given their views on this weekend's Premier League action.

The scores are based on three points for a correct score and one point for a correct result.

Sports reporter Charlie Croasdale currently leads on 202 points, sports editor Nick Harrison has 190, and deputy sports editor Tom Norris has 187.

MANCHESTER CITY v WEST BROM

NICK HARRISON: Lovely old guy but Pellegrini has to go. Has made poor signings this year and will end this season pot-less, leave the next manager with a total-rebuilding programme. They’ll beat The Baggies though. 3-0

TOM NORRIS: If City can get an early goal expect a routine home success, but if they don’t the Baggies will suck the life out of the game. 2-0

CHARLIE CROASDALE: Could be slow going for City whose fans will be flat after their midweek disappointment. However, they should have too much for Pulis’ Baggies. 3-0

ASTON VILLA v SWANSEA CITY

NH: Four goals in a game! Wow! Villa fans must be in dreamland. Swansea will come and shut up shop but Villa and Benteke should still breakthough. 2-1

TN: Swansea are another team who try to keep things tight away from home and the Villa crowd will have to be patient before celebrating another important win. 2-1

CC: Villa Park will be bouncing following three straight wins but Swansea shouldn’t be underestimated and could claim a point. 1-1

NEWCASTLE UNITED v ARSENAL

NH: Arsenal are in good form and if they can sneak another away win, then the title could still be a possibility. But only if Sanchez starts to fire again. 1-2

TN: John Carver is quite clearly just filling the gap until Newcastle can appoint a proper manager and Arsenal will sense blood with Walcott a frequent scorer against the Geordies. 0-3

CC: Newcastle’s campaign looks like petering out as per usual while the Gunners are in-form and I can see more joy for Sanchez, Ozil and Giroud.0-2

SOUTHAMPTON v BURNLEY

NH: Burnley are good at home but so are The Saints. Southampton should sneak this one but it will be very tight. 1-0

TN: The Saints picked up an impressive point at Stamford Bridge last weekend and they will be eager to build on that with a home win over Burnley. 1-0

CC: Koeman’s men produced an excellent performance at Chelsea and can build on that, but the Clarets will not make it easy for them and will make inroads. 2-1

STOKE CITY v CRYSTAL PALACE

NH: Palace are a bit like Burnley and need to start producing the goos away from home. Stoke are playing well and might just have enough to hold on. 2-1

TN: Palace under Pardew don’t die wondering and that is just the spirit needed when tackling Stoke at the Britannia Stadium. Expect goals and the points to be shared. 2-2

CC: Pardew’s two-pronged wing attack is reaping rewards with Bolasie and Zaha on fire. However, a trip to Stoke is never easy and Hughesie will be keen to not let their season fall away. 2-1

TOTTENHAM v LEICESTER CITY

NH: Spurs are impossible to predict and these are the games they end up losing. Eriksen is too in and out for me so it will be up to Kane to win it again. 3-1

TN: Spurs will be determined to bounce back from a mauling at Old Trafford and the FA Cup loss to the Foxes. Kane to inspire a routine home success. 3-1

CC: Leicester should have sacked Pearson when they had the chance. Now they just look like relegation-fodder and are heading straight back to the Championship. Expect Kane to score. 2-0

WEST HAM UNITED v SUNDERLAND

NH: Two teams who have hit the buffers. Will new coach Advocaat make a difference or can Big Sam get The Hammers back on track? 2-1

TN: How much impact will Advocaat have made in under a week? Upton Park is not the kindest start for the Dutchman and he may well end up pointless on debut. 2-0

CC: Big Sam has been touted for the hotseat at Sunderland but he may think twice when he sees what a sorry state they are. It can’t get much worse for the Black Cats but I can’t see them winning. 1-0

LIVERPOOL v MANCHESTER UNITED

NH: Keep Rooney quiet and the points are Liverpool’s. Rodgers deserves credit for turning it around at Liverpool. Maybe it’s time for Sturridge to make an impact. 2-1

TN: Manchester United are getting worryingly close to the business end of the table and that means a home win is imperative. Liverpool have been in fine form and will smell blood. 2-0

CC: United produced arguably their best 45 minutes of the season last week in dismantling Spurs, but this is a different prospect altogether. Liverpool are miserly in defence but full of attacking flair and should win this. 1-0

HULL CITY v CHELSEA

NH: Come on Hull! Beat Chelsea and make it one of the most thrilling ends to the season ever. All The Tigers have to do is stop Hazard and Ivanovic because Chelsea are pretty average otherwise. 1-2

TN: Mourinho will make sure that Chelsea have had their wobble and they put Hull to the sword, whether it is a convincing win or not. Back Fabregas to return to form. 0-2

CC: Hull aren’t out of the woods yet and could be dragged back into serious danger should they lose this. Expect Mourinho to guard against any complacency. 0-3

QPR v EVERTON

NH: Home win for me. Thursday would have taken it out of the Blues and Austin could help help himself at Loftus Road. 3-2

TN: If Everton play the direct style they did against Newcastle last weekend they could well enjoy their trip to the capital. It will be a tight game with the winner coming late on. 1-2

CC: Looking at their run-in you can still make a case for QPR surviving but games like this really are ‘must-win’. Chris Ramsey is a decent coach and the players will be hungry for this. 1-0
