COFFEY Alice Teresa (née George) known as Sally Died peacefully on 21st July, at home in Hampshire, surrounded by her daughters Clare and Thérèse. The daughter of a Royal Welsh Fusilier, Sally grew up in Wrexham and was in the Cathedral choir. Sally trained to be a teacher at Mount Pleasant Training College in Liverpool, continuing her career there. She kept up with her Wrexham family and friends, by whom she will be greatly missed. RIP. Funeral will be on Tuesday, 6th August at 1pm in St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Chester followed by interment in Wrexham Cemetery with her beloved husband Tom.

I was at Wrexham Cinvent with Sally and I recall her as a very bright, intelligent girl it was good to know, We studied for A levels together - I remember history in particular - but our paths parted when Sally went to Liverpool and I went to Cardiff. Rest in peace, Sally, I shall always remember you with affection. Marna Ptice (now known as Sarah Bayliss).
