THORNTON John Francis Passed away on 22nd July, 2024, aged 100 years, of Buckley. (W.W.2. Veteran; former Buckley Town Councillor and Mayor on three occasions; former Chairman of A.&.D.D.C. and Freeman of Buckley Town). Beloved husband of the late Ivy, loving and wonderful father of Vanessa. Funeral Service at Bistre Parish Church, Buckley, on Monday 5th August, at 11am followed by interment in the Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers gratefully received to be shared between Nightingale House and the Shooting Star Unit, Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Enquiries Caergwrle 01978 760200.
