EVANS Frederic Roger (Former Deputy Head of Bryn Coch School) of Hen Fragdy, Mold. Passed away peacefully at Bistre Nursing Home on Saturday, 15th June 2024, aged 79 years. Devoted dad of Jonathan and Bethan. Treasured and much loved taid and brother. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service and cremation at Flintshire Memorial Park on Wednesday, 10th July 2024 at 11:00 AM. Dear Bethan and Johnathon-(or Jon-Jon! As I always called you.) I’m so very sorry to hear of the great loss of Roger, my Dads best friend and partner in crime. He was a wonderful man, a great friend to my Dad, they met every day (normally in the pub!) my daughter Sêren was extremely fond of Roger, infact when ever she is home, in Wales, she would always vist him. Just to check he was ok, it was constantly on her mind. She always enjoyed seeing Roger! I have heard so many wonderful stories about him and my Dad- normally bribing her with an extra 7UP to see the end of a match! They were avid supporters together, of Wrexham and Dads Liverpool. But they did enjoy a Manchester United game (if they got beaten!)
I got to know your Dad well in last few years. He was absolutely lovely, he was so proud of you both, and often filled me in on your lives. He loved you both dearly. I want to send you both, all the love and support I can.
Ive been there- it’s a horrible journey, but remember how much he loved you, be strong and be together.
