MAXIM Helen (Elizabeth) It is with the greatest sadness that we announce that Helen died peacefully at home in Llandaff on the evening of 8th December 2023, aged 81 years. Adored wife of Max, dearly loved mother of Chris and Liz, and devoted grandmother of Freya, Helen bore her final illness with uncomplaining bravery and was elegant and dignified to the end. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will be in our hearts for ever. As well being an unfailingly loving and caring wife and mother, Helen was also a gifted and dedicated teacher. In a long and distinguished career in primary education she enriched the lives of generations of pupils. The funeral service will take place at the Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium CF62 9PX on Thursday, 4th January 2024, at 12 noon. Family flowers only, please.
