KNIGHT Stephen Passed away on 24th November 2023 aged 63 years. Of Treuddyn nr. Mold, formerly of Upton Chester. Loved dad of Emma, Arron, Victoria and Joshua and husband of Lorraine. Grandad of Lottie and Lucy and father-in-law of James. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and Airbus colleagues. Funeral service at Flintshire Crematorium, Northop on Thursday 7th December at 2pm. Donations gratefully received in memory of Steve for Lymphoma Action and Sepsis Research FEAT. So sad to hear the news, condolences to the family, I first met Steve on the 5th September 1977 when we both started at what was Hawker Siddeley, we became friends thru our apprenticeship and onto the shop floor until I left BAe, but re-connected when I came back to BAe in 1990, we always chatted when our paths crossed in the factory, to discussed the mad times we had as teenagers learning our trade and attending college. Steve was a great knowledgeable engineer, a great friend and mentor to many and Airbus will miss his experience. A good person taken too soon. RIP mate

To Lorraine and Family - I have been totally shocked by your sudden loss. I was only a couple of weeks ago trying to find Steven on social media. Like him I have lived a full and outward life and am currently residing in Spain to sail back Sunday 10th so I will miss the funeral but I surely would have attended if I could have. I know mum and dad (Rachel and Fred) are with him in spirit, as are Moya and Jo. Stay strong with the family and. rest assured I will be with you in all but physical presence.
