ROBERTS Geoffrey Charles Passed away peacefully on Monday, 16th October at Wrexham Maelor, aged 81 years. He was a beloved father to Sarah, Helen, Andy and Chris, a loving husband to Sue and a devoted grandfather to Louis, Effie, Theo, Andre, Phoenix and Kira. Geoffrey was a prominent local businessman - the owner of Self-Service Hardware, formerly Robert Roberts and Sons - the second oldest business in Wrexham, established in the 1890s. He was also a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) counsellor for many years, a vice president of the LTA and a founder of the North Wales Regional Tennis Centre in Wrexham. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A small private family funeral will be held, and a memorial service for family, friends and colleagues from around the world will be held in the new year.
