JONES Philip (Phil) of Hafod Park, Mold. Passed away peacefully at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on Saturday, 28th January 2023, aged 71 years. Beloved husband of Gill, much loved dad of Kate and Peter. Dear father-in-law of Nicky and Clare. Proud grandad of Finley, Lincoln, Willow and Phoebe. A loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Phil will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral service at Northop Parish Church on Friday, 24th February 2023 at 11:00am followed by cremation at Flintshire Memorial Park. Family flowers only please but donations may be given in Phil's memory to Northop Church and Rhyl Life Boat Station. All enquiries to Peter Morris Funeral Directors, Chester Street, Mold. I worked with Phil at North Wales Newspapers about 36 years ago. He was a proud family man who you could always go to if you had a problem. Nothing was too much trouble or phased him and he always had a beaming smile on his face. He was a lovely man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Phil, it was a great pleasure to have known you.

A very dear friend and colleague. Phil will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. I will always hold very fond memories of all the laughs and challenges we shared and overcame together. He was a true friend.
