JONES - Derek, formerly of Park Ave, Wrexham, passed away suddenly on 20th April 2022 following a short illness at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Funeral service at Borras Park Evangelical Church on Monday, 9th May 2022 at 1:00 pm followed by interment at Plas Acton Cemetery at 2:30pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given in memory to charities in support of music education in the Wrexham area. Derek, you were a power bank of energy who worked so hard to promote the Arts in Wrexham. We at Wrexham Symphony Orchestra are eternally grateful for all you did for us and you will be missed. I am honored to have been able to work with you and call you a friend and you will live on in our music. Rest in peace. WSO and Ty Pawb will be all the poorer without you.
