DAVIES. - The Funeral has taken place of Marie Davies who lived at Oak Alyn Residential home Cefn-y-bedd, formerly of Bradley and passed away at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 12th January, 2011, aged 96 years. She leaves daughter Gladys, son Cyril, daughter-in-law Heather, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Funeral Service was at Pentrebychan Crematorium on 19th January, 2011 and was conducted by Rev. Sue Huyton. Bearers were Ian Cross, Liam Roberts, Kevin Davies and Darren Davies. Mourners were many relatives, friends and neighbours too numerous to mention.
THANKS - The family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy. Special thanks to Rev. Sue Huyton for her kind words of comfort also thanks to Roberts Bros for taking such care of the arrangements. Flowers were sent by family. Donations received amounted to £320 in memory of Marie to be shared equally between Bersham Ward, Maelor Hospital and Oak Alyn home, Cefn-y-bedd.
