WREXHAM is set to welcome a new gym to Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre this summer - and here's everything we know about it so far.

UK-based fitness centre Foundry Gym is on track to open early June, occupying the former Sports Direct unit (Unit B1B).

It will feature new state of the art equipment and will be open 365 days a year, 24/7.

Ahead of its grand opening, the gym is offering an exclusive membership discount for a limited time only with all details to be found on the 'Foundry Gym Wrexham' Facebook page.

Members will also benefit from free parking in the Eagles Meadow multi-storey car park.

Founder Joe Bland has confirmed over £500,000 is being invested into the branch, which will be co-owned by Jennifer Mary Daniel and Ross Whetton, whose parents are originally from the Wrexham area.

"In the meantime we still have our pre-sale offer running of £5 for your first month on a no-contract basis."
