POLICE say they will continue to conduct patrols outside a school in Wrexham amid concerns over inconsiderate parking.

Concerns were raised in October about parking at Ysgol Yr Hafod in Johnstown during drop off and pick up times.

One resident said that something needed to be done before a child is "knocked over".

North Wales Police and Wrexham Council acknowledged the issue, pleading with parents to park responsibly.

However it seems that problems have persisted as the force and the village's councillor, David A Bithell, were conducting patrols and reported that there was some "inconsiderate" parking.
