TODAY is the official first day of spring (March 20), and there are signs of the season's arrival all across the region.
Members of the Leader Camera Club have been sharing some of their images of these early days of spring.
Lighter nights and warmer days are on their way, with a burst of colourful blooms too.

The Leader Camera Club is a friendly and supportive group of amateur and professional photographers.
Members share photos daily and take part in regular theme challenges.
Recent topics have included fabric, panoramic and rivers.
They also capture natural events, such as a snow moon, Northern Lights and a Disney-esque big freeze.
