TWO Wrexham lads are set to compete in a major challenge.
Callum Davies and Richard Austin will tackle a 46-mile ultra-marathon across Wales on May 25 in aid of a worthy cause.
The duo will be joined by Finn Gibbens, a friend from the West Country, as they raise money for the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
The epic challenge will see the trio attempting to run from the England/Wales border in Shropshire to Aberystwyth on the Welsh west coast, all in a single day.
It will start in the village of Anchor, running across Wales from east to west in an almost straight line.
The route will include the same elevation as one and a half Yr Wyddfas, which is over 1,700 metres. Davies, 25, said: "The three of us have run a number of races in the past, however after seeing a number of high-profile ultramarathon feats taking place across social media recently we wanted to give our own challenge a go. We're trying to raise £1,500 in total."
