Dozens of people have appeared before Wrexham and Mold Magistrates Courts over the last few days.

They include the following...

Michael Roberts-Viera, aged 21 and of Kenilworth Road, Leamington Spa, admitted handling stolen goods on March 13 at Presthaven Sands Holiday Park in Gronant in that he dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely: Pyong Ying electric bike, two large dog ornaments (Jack Russell and Collie), pull along trolley, a fleece coat, miscellaneous items of food, case of Stella Artois, 10 Budweiser bottles, game of Cluedo, 'Sega Mega' games console, two toilet brushes, soft toys, a handful of 'dinky cars', kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer, 50-inch Samsung TV, BT PRV recorder, Xbox S Games console, 30 DVDs including Harry Potter box set, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, duvets, dressing gown, camping chairs, beach mats, bucket and spades, kites, footballs - belonging to Luke Sedzikowski, Shelly Barton, Robert Sheldon by or for the benefit of another or dishonestly arranged so to do, knowing or believing them to be stolen goods. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay out £50 in compensation, as well as £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Jordan Parfitt, aged 27 and of HMP Parc, admitted possessing a mobile phone within HMP Berwyn on January 10, 2023, without authority - the phone being an item specified in section 40D(3B) of the Prison Act 1952. He received an eight week custodial sentence to be served concurrently to his ongoing sentence. The court imposed a £154 victim surcharge to be paid on his release.

Jay Parsonage, aged 23 and of Ffordd Dewi in Oakenholt, was sentenced for driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs - which involved him driving a Volkswagen motor vehicle on the A483 at Rossett. He received a 12 month community order to include up to 10 days of rehabilitation activity and a £180 fine. He was also banned from driving for 24 months and must pay £85 costs, as well as a £114 victim surcharge.

Michael Homer, aged 20 and of Ryder Close in Wrexham, was sentenced for being in charge of a motor vehicle whilst over the specified drug limit for cannabis, as well as possessing cannabis - both of which took place in Brynteg on February 5.
He was fined £150 and received 10 penalty points, as well as having to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Trisha Lloyd, aged 40 and of Holt Road in Cross Lanes, was sentenced for theft from a shop - the offence involving her stealing goods belonging to B&M Bargains in Wrexham on November 8 last year. She must pay £41.60 in compensation and a £120 fine as well as £85 costs.
