NORTH Wales Police have issued safety advice following a theft in the Flintshire area.
After receiving a report of a theft in Connah's Quay, North Wales Police are encouraging residents to consider their latest security advice.
The report confirms the theft of a motor vehicle which was taken earlier this week.

Flintshire residents are now being asked to consider the following to ensure their safety:
- Physically check that your doors and windows are locked and closed when the vehicle is unoccupied
- Ensure that no valuables are left in the vehicle if possible
- Ensure that your vehicle is parked in a location which is covered by CCTV and security lighting
- Consider parking your vehicle in a location which is off the main road, preferably on a drive way
- Consider purchasing a steering wheel lock or wheel lock
