A WREXHAM man accused of murder has appeared in court.
Matthew Hardy, of Wheat Close in Gwersyllt, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
The 36-year-old is charged with the murder of Antony Derwent (pictured, aged 52) - the alleged offence having happened in Gwersyllt on April 7.
Hardy will next appear at Mold Crown Court on Monday, April 15.
Detective Superintendent Chris Bell said: “I would like to thank the local community for all their co-operation, as well as the information they have provided to date.
"Our investigation continues, and I would ask if anyone has any information that could assist us.
"I am particularly interested to hear from any witnesses who have knowledge of who has attended 29 Wheat Close, Gwersyllt between 7pm on Saturday, April 6 through to the early hours of Sunday, April 7, to get in touch with the investigation team via our live webchat online or on 101."
