WREXHAM'S most famous pub has announced it will opening an exclusive 'fan-zone' for the last game of the season.

Landlord Wayne Jones announced on social media that he's been working hard on a new fan-zone at The Turf.

Opening on Saturday, April 27 ahead of the Wrexham AFC v Stockport match, just 400 wristbands will be available on a first come first served basis.

They are priced at £3 and will guarantee entrance from 11am and 5-6pm afterwards to hopefully celebrate a Wrexham win!

The Turf will have live music from 11.30am from Osian Jones followed by Wrexham's very own Declan Swans at 12.30om.

Wayne has confirmed there is plenty of new seating with a full bar awaiting - a perfect alternative for those without a season ticket.

All tickets can be purchased from his Butty Van situated outside the pub on Mold Road, Wrexham, from 10am on Monday, April 15.

Wayne said: "A very large donation from the tickets sales we will be donating to charity.

"Up the Turf!"

The exclusive fan-zone is set to be an incredible addition to the pub which has featured on the football docu-series 'Welcome to Wrexham.'

The Turf has become a tourist attraction since the club's takeover with thousands of international fans visiting each year.

It has also recently received a make over from local artist Liam Stokes-Massey who has created a Phil 'Parky' Parkinson mural just outside the pub's entrance.
