TWO roads in Wrexham are set for a period of closure.
According to public notices published in The Leader courtesy of Wrexham Council, Sontley Road and Poolmouth Road (in Brynteg) are set for upcoming closures.
From February 19, Sontley Road will be closed from the junctions with Fairy Road and Hillbury Road. This is to allow resurfacing works to take place and the closure will last 11 working days.
The alternative route by motorists affected by the closure is via B5100 Talbot Road, Percy Road and Sontley Road - which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

From February 15, Poolmouth Road will be closed between its junctions with Wrexham Road and Summerhill Road. This is to allow Virgin Media/O'Connor Utilities to complete work in the area.
The closure is set to last 21 days and the alternative route for motorists is via Wrexham Road, Gatewen Road, B5101 Berse Road, Mold Road Interchange and Summerhill Road.
It will be signposted accordingly and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
