A NUMBER of Christmas Markets are set to take place in Wrexham next month. 

As December approaches, more and more venues are finalising their plans for Christmas Markets. 

Markets are extremely popular in the build up to Christmas, and we've rounded up a list of all the confirmed festive markets set to take place in Wrexham in the coming weeks. 

1. Victorian Christmas Market, December 7

There's a festive treat in store when the Victorian Christmas Market returns to the city centre on 7 December. The event will run from 12pm until 8pm.

There'll be over 80 stalls from Queens Square to St Giles’ Church selling a huge array of gifts, beauty and skincare products, food and drink, baked goods, art, clothes and accessories such as jewellery and lote more!

For the younger visitors there'll be an amazing Carousel, Ferris Wheel and lots of side stalls such as a Coconut Shy and you can also test your strength on the hammer machine

There'll also be street performers and entertainers with traditional Victorian organ performers, Punch and July and roaming street entertainers such as Queen Victoria, chimney sweeps and pickpockets. Jugglers, stilt walkers and a performance from the City of Wrexham Brass Band later in the day.

Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead Member for Economy and Regeneration, said, "The Victorian Market is a much anticipated event that brings thousands of visitors from Wrexham and across the region into Wrexham.

"This year the organisers have put together an amazing array of stalls and entertainment that everyone can enjoy and I'd like to thank them all for their commitment to making this an event to remember."

2. Wrexham Christmas Makers Market, December 2

Wrexham Makers Market is returning this Winter for another special Christmas edition, as a diverse range of makers from ceramics, textiles, woodwork, homewares, jewellery, glass and printmaking and affordable art showcase and sell their fabulous wares.

Set in the bustling, vibrant market space of Tŷ Pawb, the market is the perfect place to buy bespoke and unique Christmas gifts for all your friends and family!

The food court and market traders will be open throughout the day, with live music performances scheduled to bring that extra special atmosphere to the event.

3. Wrexham Christmas Market, December 8-10

The Markets organised by FairEvent management and Offa community council will take place in Bellvue Park over three days in December. 

There will be the Bellvue Park light switch on to get things underway on the Friday, while over the weekend there will be a host of stalls, activities, rides and live music to keep everyone entertained. 

There will also be shops on offer as well as a range of food and drinks.
